In celebration of the 10-year anniversary of London’s iconic celebrity hotspot Chiltern Firehouse, Steeldeck Rentals was commissioned to deliver a bespoke access platform for an exclusive, high-profile event. The project, executed in collaboration with Atom Events, who we’ve proudly worked alongside for 30 years, required a blend of creative ingenuity and logistical precision to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Tasked with providing a discreet and private entryway for VIP guests, we designed and constructed a custom access platform and steps that led through a vintage fire engine offering a quirky and unexpected route into the restaurant. This unique entrance allowed guests to arrive in style, all while maintaining a level of exclusivity and privacy, essential for such a high-profile occasion.

Our scope extended beyond just the construction of steps. Steeldeck Rentals ensured safety with the installation of a custom-built handrail, soft casement finishing, and intricate carpentry work tailored to meet the event’s distinct aesthetic.
