Bespoke staging and access solutions for global brands across the UK
From beachside builds to city park pop-ups, this summer saw the Steeldeck Rentals team deliver a series of striking brand activations across some of the UK’s biggest festivals.
Working with creative agencies and production partners, we provided bespoke staging and access solutions that combined functionality, safety and design, helping brands create memorable, high-impact experiences for festival audiences.
Each project presented its challenges, from tight build schedules and uneven ground conditions to complex structural requirements. With our experienced crews and collaborative approach, we ensured every activation was delivered on time and built to perform.

Boardmasters Festival, Cornwall - Sprite
At Boardmasters this year, we partnered with Creator International to deliver a bespoke stage and access solution for Sprite’s brand activation. The project required fast, precise planning and efficient delivery, while contending with tough weather conditions that added to the challenge.
The brief was to provide a 5m x 5m stage with a DDA-compliant ramp from the edge of the structure, capable of supporting the client’s own roof and truss structure. Four truss points positioned on the deck required additional underpropping, which we installed following advice from our engineer. Drawing on our previous experience at Boardmasters, we were able to advise on ground levels and ramp layout early in the process to help set realistic client expectations on site.

Boardmasters Festival, Cornwall - DHB Group
Building on our longstanding collaboration with DHB Group, we were also commissioned to deliver staging for another major soft drinks brand at Boardmasters. We designed and installed a two-tiered structure with an access platform, creating a vibrant, engaging space that supported both the practical needs of the activation and its design.
The structure needed to perform in a busy outdoor festival environment, offering safety, durability and a professional finish. Once again, our team delivered a reliable staging solution that helped bring the activation to life.

Brockwell Park, Wireless Festival and Wilderness Festival - Johnnie Walker
Working with Creation Live, we supported the Johnnie Walker activation at three major UK festivals. We were appointed to design and build a row of steps along the front of the raised decking area for clear access, along with a compliant ramp for step-free visitors. Each site presented its own challenges, with uneven ground levels requiring careful adaptations of the stair and ramp design.
By adjusting our structures to suit each location and maintain a consistent layout and finish, we ensured the activation looked uniform and professional across all three festivals. This flexibility delivered a seamless experience for the audience.
