Turning a school stage into a showstopper
For Dunottar School’s latest show, we transformed their school theatre into a multi-level performance space for a big production. Following our successful collaboration on Guys and Dolls in 2024, the Surrey-based independent school returned with a bold new brief.
They needed a full extension to their existing stage, a raised platform to accommodate the orchestra, and an elevated balcony structure to represent the upper levels of a castle. Working closely with the creative team, we supplied and installed bespoke Steeldeck platforms to bring their vision to life.
Keeping to budget, our versatile system allowed us to create a dynamic, multi-level set that gave the cast room to perform and the orchestra space to shine without compromising on the audience experience.
