Event Structures

← Back to Stages

Some events require extra thought and planning. We might need to level a sloped garden to support a sizeable marquee or construct a robust stage capable of holding a massive water tank for a magician’s escape act, or build a platform strong enough to support a double stack of shipping containers with built in bars and viewing platforms above and below. Importantly, we have plenty of experience of assessing structures and collaborating with structural engineers to calculate loads and deliver safe, secure solutions for any design.

This large event structure was designed for a private party, ranging from 0.2m to 5.5m in height and supporting a 40-tonne glass marquee. We installed steel access treads and reinforced the entire structure with scaffolding to ensure the necessary strength and stability.
This outdoor stage and public access bar area, constructed for Otherplace Productions as part of The Warren Festival in Brighton, was engineered to support a shipping container with a plane on top.
The design and installation for Red Bull Dance Your Style international competition, held at Freight Island in Manchester featured a smooth MDF-topped surface bespoke main stage, accessible viewing platform, and tiered seating with clear exit routes and sightlines.
While working with the producers of Gottwood Festival, we designed and installed several stages nestled within the woodlands on the Isle of Anglesey, Wales. To accommodate the uneven terrain, we provided custom-built treads, ensuring easy and safe access for festival-goers.

“Mike and the team were amazing. I really appreciated that the person I was communicating with from the beginning was the one who showed up and built my structure!”
