Bleacher
← Back to SeatingBleacher seating is a fixed bench type of raised seating laid out in tiered rows. We build these using our standard Steeldeck modules without any need for seats, and each tier is designed to match the height of a seat.
The bleacher option ensures excellent sight lines but means slightly less comfort compared to padded seats. It’s best suited for shorter events like fashion shows, or performances where the audience can freely enter and exit when they want.
We regularly supply bleacher style seating for festivals. This typical hire for the VIP area at Parklife in Manchester included the installation of balustrade guardrails around the bleacher seating to ensure public access safety.
This tiered bleacher style seating structure was built at Manchester Academy One to accommodate the audience on either side of a traverse performance by Studio Creole. Box treads were placed between the rows to provide access, and each level was finished with carpet for added comfort. We also installed a hard plywood fascia on the front for a polished appearance.
This seating installation for the Christopher Kane fashion show was one of our more unique bleacher-style builds. We constructed two levels of seating and a standing platform at the back, creating a versatile and functional setup for the event.
We built this bleacher seating for a fashion show at Smithfield Market in London. The seating is finished with carpet on top for comfort and hard fascia on the sides for a polished look. White lines delineate the rows, ensuring the structure is safe to navigate in low light. Each row is set at 1 foot 6 increments, with box treads installed to provide easy access from one side to the other.
We provided tiered bleacher seating risers to accommodate excellent audience sightlines for Red Bull's 'Dance Your Style' event in Battersea Power Station.
