Judgeday Festivals requested our services once more, this time at the Greenbelt Festival of Arts, Faith and Justice. Steeldeck were tasked with providing 14 stages of varying size as well as a ramp, thus enabling wheelchair access to much of the stunning grounds in and around Boughton House.
Birmingham, the largest and most populous British city outside London, is a hotbed of culture, sport, music and architecture. As well as multiple Industrial Revolution-era landmarks highlighting it’s 18th-century history as a manufacturing powerhouse, it is also home to a network of canals, many of which are now lined with trendy cafes and bars. Steeldeck are delighted to have played a key role in many of the city’s major events over the last 30 years, from the Birmingham Lego convention at the NEC to Greenbelt Festival of Arts, Faith and Justice at Boughton House and look forward to working with this forward thinking city for many years ahead.

As master crafts people ourselves, Steeldeck were delighted when Brick Shows invited us to work on BRICKLIVE, their touring interactive LEGO event. In total we built 5 stages for the Lego Convention both at Excel, London and at NEC, Birmingham. We are secretly hoping that next year they might ask us to build a spaceship...
Creating access up into a boat is something we do frequently at the London Boat Show, within the super toasty Excel arena. On this occasion however we were stationed at Sywell Airport, working in the pouring rain for the re-opening of Sywell Aviation Museum. Fortunately we’re tough cookies, bringing smiles come rain or shine and once again completed the project safely and efficiently.
