London Festival of Architecture
Steeldeck quickly became an integral part of the team that developed the NLA Skywalk Pavilion for the London Festival of Architecture. The successful realisation of this ambitious project behind the British Museum was testament to their ingenuity in solving technical challenges with the client / design team, along with their cooperative and proactive team spirit in managing the logistics and installation through the temporary closure of Montague Place. Thanks to their considerable efforts to build the 160m long structure in only three days, an estimated 25,000 visitors enjoyed the events that it hosted over its short lifespan, before it was dismantled and returned to a working street in only 24 hours.
